Buying these from a diy 'shed' so no expert advice available!

Do I seal these tiles before fixing to the walls?
Any specific adhesive required? [they are 10mm thick and 20mmx20mm
so not too heavy].
Then do I seal for a second time after grouting and will one more coat of sealer be enough?
Will the sealer help prevent mould growing in the grout?

Many questions, thanks for any answers......

If you think you are likely to make a mess with the adhesive then it is possible to apply a coat of sealer before fixing but it can slow the drying of the adhesive, I don't bother, just keep a clean damp sponge to remove any adhesive from the tile face imediatly.

Depending on how porus the stone is and make of sealer you will need at least two coats before grouting and at least one after.

The sealer usually does not have any fungicides but as it makes the tile less porus will help stop dirt and mould buildup.
