Hi to all,

I need to replace one of he keypads on my house alarm system (2 of the keys have become unresponsive).

I have a spare keypad that I will use to replace the one with the now defective keys.

Before I disconnect the defective keypad I want to disable to anti-tamper so the alarm doesn't go off.

Am I right in assuming that by going into Engineering Mode I will effectively disable the anti-tamper? If not, how should I disable it & then, with the new keypad installed, reactive the anti-tamper?

Thanks in advance

put the panel in engineering and you should be fine.

you can enter your user code after the tamper has been generated.

If the keys are unresponsive are the sticking, you may be able to clean them. instead of replacing the keypad.
