How to fit a LED ceiling lamp

I have asked the Ebayer for installation instruction and suitability for UK homes.

No reply as yet.

Anyway, he better let me return it even though I've had it for a couple of weeks now (longer than his return policy) as I was trying to figure out how to fit it, if it fits at all.

It's not always that simple flameport. The CE marking is applied to anything that requires such marking, which might be a completed assembly or a component of that assembly. If the transformer is also sold separately then it needs its own CE mark and Declaration of Conformity.

Hi Everyone,
I've got this reply from the Ebayer of the lamp

This is the power supply ( transformer ) leads directly to the mains connection , regardless of the positive and negative .[/i]

Does it sounds right to anyone here?

Also I asked about why the 2 wires both had brown sleeves but the seller didn't answer to that though.

Well it doesn't look too bad to me - at least it's a current controlled driver ! I like the way it's so well planned that two of the LED units need removing to get at the mounting holes though

I'd look at whether the terminals allow the wires to be removed from the driver input - if so then I'd do away with the fly leads and just put the supply cable into the input terminals, otherwise it's two ways of choc block. For the earth, I'd just stick a self tapping screw into one of the spare holes in the plate.
