I have a LG TDC70045E Condensing dryer the drive belt has snapped I have ordered a new belt. Would like some tips and advice on how to fit the belt.

Many thanks.

If there's no tension adjustment, then put the belt on the smaller/smallest pulley first and the bigger/biggest pulley last.

If you can adjust the tension, then slacken it off first, then fit the belt, then adjust so that you find the midpoint between the belt going "twang" like a bow string and being so loose that it smacks other components as it goes round.

Condenser drier with a big pulley which make/model have you been fitting belts to softus. Sorry fr not a simple job and usually a reason why belt snaps.Check if drum is rotating freely Check the jockey wheels are turning freely these are the wheels the drum sits on and turns the drum rotates.

A Dankworth 4550e Turbo - so sexy that it's unofficially known as the 'Julio Iglesias' of condensing driers.
