Hi all, as the title says how do I get around this bullnose section of wall with 9 inch Victorian profile skirting boards? My first idea would be to mitre the long lengths from the other wall up to the bullnose then a mitre and a small piece diagonally over the bullnose to the next wall and then another meter on the next length but any ideas or advice on how to do this would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Loads of little whatever degrees of mitre are needed - glue fill and sand.
Different job But I once put a length of skirting around a half round bay by putting in a big diameter pipe and attaching a steam wall paper stripper to one end and seal the other and leaving it for a few hours, quickly took it inside and screwed to wall with pre drilled and plugged holes.

Another time I cut loads of saw cuts on the back but problem was that it was touras profile and the cut went througt a section of profile so I cut the top off and glued it back on after

Kerfing it would look the neatest but would it work on such a small radius ? Plus it’s Victorian profile so pretty delicate up at the top of the profile - pic attached to show profile

Square corner as normal then curve wall in like a hockey stick.

Of years ago they run it in like running cornice. Use resin wood filler and template and make it round matching the wood

No, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I wonder if it could be done in Plaster of Paris?

Too weak and vulnerable just there
Have a look at dry flex 4 I have seen some very impressive vids of repairs and forming profiles with it

Thanks, I’ve seen this product before in YouTube videos. I’ve just had a thought the Plaster at the bottom kicks it out so the skirting boards are not all flushed to the wall making use of this product a little bit tricky but not impossible. I consider my options.
