New to this here goes.
Bought a 200 year old house(not listed but we are in area of outstanding beauty) to renovate and put extension on. The roof is a slate hip roof, I,m not kidding but you have to crawl into it
and out, no insulation etc. We have no houses near us so it would not effect anyone etc.
My questions are:
How can we convince the council to replace and raise the ridge height?
If we had solar panels is there an angle it needs to be etc?
Could we change a hip to a gable roof?
