How to increase the water pressure on an Ariston E-Combi

Hi all,

I've moved into a house with this boiler - an Ariston e-combi.

It's generally working fine. Although I realised today I don't know how to increase the pressure (currently sitting at 1 bar - so probably OK - but best I work this out now!).

Looking under the boiler I see:

What knobs do I need to turn to increase the pressure?


This video - about a slightly different Ariston model - suggests needing to turn two knobs. But I don't seem to have one of those knobs on my boiler. That knob is replaced by the grey pieces of plastic (to the right of the yellow knob). It doesn't seem to turn.

The black and white ( grey ?) knobs below both valves ( left and right hand sides) operate the filling loop.

The black one turned no problem at all.

The grey one didn't seem to budge.

It turned out it just needed some persistent encouragement.

I’ve just done a search and according to what I found from 2008 upwards
