how to make a clean cut through plastic

Hi all, wasn't sure what forum to ask in so I thought here might be a good start.

I have a BiOrb Life series tank, the material is a high grade plastic 3.5mm thick black in color, I would like to cut through it cleanly as possible.

The cut will be a rounded square, the image below can be used as a scale.

Can someone recommend the best cutting tool to use for this job?
