How to make a square corner in a trench?

Ok some great info there I think I've got it now. Although one thing I'm not sure how I can do it is at the front end of the foundations it is right up to the concrete driveway and so there's no soil to hammer steaks into is there another way I can do it there?

I can't tell how serious you are about knocking a nail in the concrete

I use screws. Within 48 hours they go in quite easily with an impact driver.
