How would i re-fix small off-cuts of valley slates that have become loose and are now sitting in the lead valley or the gutter?
As a matter of interest how would i re-fix loose valley tiles ie. Marley or Redlands?
I guess that what i'm trying to avoid is stripping the valley sides for the sake of a few slate cuts.

the best you could possibly do is to use a cartridge style adhesive and bond the loose tile to one already fixed. this could also be achieved with a strongish sand/cement mix.

traditional slate fixings can only be accessed by removing the tile above, and so-on. if any tile lathe is visible once the valley slate is removed it is possible to use a lead repair cleat, but this is unlikely on the valley cuts. :(
