I have a Danfoss Randall RAS-D thermostatic valve which I cant remove.

I need to do this as I have a stuck TVR.

I have looked on the danfoss tech sheet but it doesnt actually tell you how to remove the head of the valve to get to the TVR !!

Not sure whether it comes off by the black bottom part or the part at the top which has the danfoss brand name on.

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

I really don't want to drain my whole system just to replace the valve.

Thanks!

This is the valve I have -

the black threaded bit ,give it a 1/4 turn anti clockwise,it will try to spring back ,it maybe stiff and pull it up whilst its turned
