How to remove height off this brick?

I have a brick on my wall that stands proud from the rest. I want to take it back so its level with the rest.

What tool is best for the job?
I've an SDS drill with chisel but I don't want to take the whole wall down?!

For only one brick just use the drill on mortar beds and drill all along the bottom and top and perps as well,that way you avoid chipping surrounding brick.

When you say "height" you mean "thickness?

Is it going to be exposed, or plastered?

If exposed, you would do better to cut away the mortar joints and take it out, because cutting the face off will look very unsightly.

It's going to be tanked over with slurry prior to plasterboard fixed using foam adhesive
