How to remove oil stains from block pave drive?

I use Cement... Just cover said area with dry powder cement.

It soaks up pretty much anything, and this is the way oil spills are cleaned up on racetracks.

The water-soluble Gunk driveway cleaner (it is like a thick, strong washing up liquid and doesn't smell much). You can pour it on and scrub it neat, if the stains are bad. You can wash it away with a hose and it is bio-degradable. It is supplied in a plastic container

Don't use the (original) old fashioned Gunk engine degreaser, which smells strongly and has to be applied without water to dry surfaces. this is the one in the tin.

If you cant afford to splash out on equipment us professionals do then a cheeper karcher shouldn't be over looked. if you can get a 1200 psi one then that should do the trick. alternatively there are loads of companys out there who will do it. I am new to this forum and don't want to be seen as trying to plug my business so if you live near me in london then ill take the stain out for the cost of petrol :D

Opps just read your from bucks. Sorry, well if there is anyone in london or hampshire that wants a stain removed from thier drive for free let me know!! (For DIYNOT Forum Members only)

If its block paving then you can't getthe oil out.

best thing to do is take up the stained blocks and relay with new ones. You can get the drive sealed which is meant to help. Makes it look shiney but hey, can't have it all!
