help i need advice on how to remove oil stains and brake fluid stains from my block paved driveway, i have tried a jet wash machine with brick acid (a proper one borrowed from a friend) but the stains still remain apart from lifting affected areas and replacing are there any old wives tales about to try thanks in advance regards david

Some motor factors will sell battery acid over the counter.
Use gloves and safety glasses as you don't get a second chance.
Apply with a paint brush to a small test area. Leave as long as possible and agitate with a wire brush until you see results, pressure wash off.
You may find that the treated ares will be a different shade than the rest of the drive.
Dispose of the acid carefully and do not leave in a unmarked or indeed any container.
Paint remover (the gel type) may also do the trick
