How to remove Sony radio cd player from Golf.

Hi I want to remove sony cd player model XR-C5100R (Face Off) from golf mk111. I am a novice at this and will appreciate any help/advise on what is required in the way of tool and step by step guide? Thanking in advance.

Assuming you still have the tools to remove it, it should just slide out. There a catch on the top at the right hand side and on on the bottom on the left, iirc.

Stivino Yes spot on this is the one.
1. Do i need to take the trim out first? or is trim part of the main body?
2. Which side of the key do i push inside ( pardon my ignorance)

On some sony stereos the bezel doesn't come off. When you take the face off, you should see the slots where the tools slide into. The tool goes in with the flat side towards the stereo.
