Need to fit a new roof as its leaking badly.

I have a redundant boiler flue that needs removing really.

Do I need to remove the whole thing or can I get away with only removing a section in order to fit a new roof under it.

The outer part looks to be bolted to the wall

if you remove a section and fit a now roof under it what is going to support the top bit
remove it all its redundent!!!

Sort of question you could just pick up the phone and ask the installer of your new system, straight forward question .
Or have you upset him in anyway

He said on his original quatation he would not remove the flue as it may/does contain asbestos.

Guess I will remove it all, would rather have removed the minimal amount possible and the rest when the weather picked up.

Cheers
