I had an IKEA blind hanging in my office but it fell off the other day. I had a look and realised that it fell off because one of the brackets was screwed on a bit of the wall (a gap between the bricks) that was previously patched and then crumbled under the weight of the blind
The hole is 3cm x 3cm and it is about 8cm deep. The brickwork around it seems sound. Can anyone advise how to repair this hole with a material strong enough to take the weight of the blind. I previously tried a cement mix bought in B&Q but it crumbled quite easily. I would be grateful for your advice. Thanks.
