How to replace rubber seal on Bosch Clasixx 1000 Express?

Hi,

I have a damaged rubber door seal on a Bosch Clasixx 1000 Express. There is a tiny piece missing from the bottom where it seals with the glass.

Could anyone please advise on replacing the seal? Never done it before but I believe it is a bit of a job requiring the top or front of the machine removed and a second person to tension the thing.

PS. If a quick temporary fix is possible somehow to buy me some time on sourcing the part that would really help.

I applied a blob of silicone sealant to the gap in the seal. See how that goes for the minute.
