How to replace the spout on a Franke Zurich tap?

Hi,

We have been sent a replacement spout by Franke as our old one was corroded.

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to remove the old one?

It has a bezel type bit which unscrews, and I have done that. The new one looks like it just pushes in , but no amount of tugging will remove the old one.

Is there a trick to it or is it just a case of using brute force?

Turn the spout all the way to the right and it should just pull off.
