The shower tray that we have to install in an angle is so heavy that we need 2 persons pushing it on the floor to put it in place.

How can we in that condition put the cement on the floor and then the tray on top without spreading the concrete all over the place. It will be a mess. There must be a technique.

How do we do?

Thanks.

you slide the tray in on two batterns.
then remove the batterns when tray is in position onto the cement mix.

you can also use the plastic strapping that holds things on pallets (amongst other things) slip it round the tray at both sides, lower the tray into place on the cement then simply slide straps out without disturbing any of the cement.

When installing my shower tray earlier this month, I used the batten approach.
Make sure you can slide the battens out in one direction - i had to change the direction of on batten due to it hitting the door frame when pulling it out. :/

Big advice note with regard to the plastic strapping - wear gloves or something to protect your hands. at work I have sliced my hands on it moving boxes around with it on.
Hurts to hell if it does too!
