How to secure downpipe

Hi,

I have a long single length of downpipe installed and it slips down and comes away from the gutter outlet.
Is there a 'best way' to stop this happening.

1) Fit the pipe clips correctly.

2) Secure to the outlet using solvent adhesive.

As above really.

Or just put a screw through it.

Keeps me in work people using screws to hold down pipes together.
