How to secure tiled pipe help please

I wonder if someone could advise me. I am replacing old Groche shower handle wall integrated bracket. The pipe was secured somehow but came loose behid the tiled wall (see photo). The connector has to be pushed back and stay in for the bracket to be nice and flush (see photo) but the pipe pushes it out so strongly that it's hard to hold it in place by hand. Is the a way to secure it somehow? I did try to wedge something and glue it perhaps but everything I tried just slides out. I want to avoid drilling as they are extremely hard porcelain tiles ( wasted 4 diamond drill bits to secure a radiator!) Any ideas? TIA

Looks like it may have been held in by grout or sealant?

Fastening a tie wrap aroung the pipe part and then tap it through the hole with the fastening at the bottom of the hole may secure it. But you may need to try different sizes

no I cant get behind it unfortunately

Maybe something very fast setting? Is there anything which sets in minutes?

Should the new bracket not be fixed to the wall, which would hold it? I know you said hard porcelain tiles but the correct bit will go through it ok.

Is it an exterior wall then?

You could use a resin like kemfix.
That'll hold it forever.

What if you pull it forward, how far does it come, as you might be able to remove the fitting and cut the pipe back a bit and refit the fitting.

Pull it out and post a picture.

Yes ,but sorry I did not realise that the elbow had to go part way into the hole. As has been said a rawl plug and screw in the tile should hold it.

Thanks Andy, it's not enough to cut it and refit it and it would still need securing in place. I would probably loose it inside while cutting

I would have though resin would run down the pipe inside before it gets chance to set. Perhaps a cable tie around the threads on the elbow might help after all.
