Hi,

This might be a very silly question but I have never done this before. Just moved into this house and two button flush system is broken. If you press the button with 2 dots it never stops. I guess I need to change the flush system.

However, to change the flush valve system, I need to first stop the water coming into the flush tank. I have attached pictures of the inlet - two views to make it easy to figure it out.

The picture shows a pushfit connector, which is not a means of shutting off the water supply. The only way to shut the water off is via the mains supply or in the airing cupboard (depending on how the cistern is fed).

Unless there's an isolating valve on the other end of the flexi, although that's unlikely.
