Hi guys, there's a bad draft coming into our house via the extractor fan. I've tried a couple of "Ducting back draught shutters" but they are either too big 5" or too small 4" to fit.

Anything else that I can try?

Many thanks,

Devs.

Thanks guys, have you used these before Andy are they any good at blocking drafts?

Picasso, they are the ones that I've been trying mate, either too small or too large unfortunately :(

So what size DO you actually want?

You could just fix a square of plastic over the existing exit, with some pipe as spacers

Hi Dev,

It is what I have used on my cooker hood, it does work. You could add a small weight to the flap as it sometimes flaps once or twice.

I did try others but this was the best type.

Perfect many thanks for all the help guys. I didn't realise that those Cowled vents had the flap in them as it does really show on the picture. Thats the route to go.

Cheers,

Devs :)
