How to stop pigeons getting under my solar panels?

Hiya Guys,
i have pigeons under my solar panels, and my local roofer has told me to get some mesh and he will fit it for me,
My question is, what type do i get, and what clips do i use?, i read on another thread someone asked the same question and was told that they had to know if the panels had a return as most clips work that way...ive no idea if mine has a return or not, are there any universal mesh and clips?

Is that just for mesh and clips that you will pay your roofer to fit? Add on the price of scaffolding.

Roll up some chicken wire and stuff it between the roof and the panels or get a dummy hawk fitted on your roof.

Out of interest, what damage do pigeons do? We had some nesting under our panels, didn't notice any damage, but wondering if I should be worried and take steps to stop them in the future?
