hi all

My disabled grandma who's no longer with us used to have this vynil on her walk in shower

We wish to tile it up now (just the floor - wall tiles are decent shape)

Now as there is a slope - I wanted to get some ideas on what sort of tiles I can use on a bathroom floor

Porcelain / ceramic / Matt/ polish / heard a few names going around....

Also the size - maybe smaller width 150mm for builder to actually keep the slope for the drain?

She used to sit on a shower chair - but maybe we should put a shower tray? Or basin type thing? That way we can keep a shower glass to stop toilet and sink getting wet....

Appreciate any advice as it would be handy to use this downstairs room again

Looks like altro flooring, you would need to gut it to tile the floor.

Yes happy to gut the vynil but advice on the new set of tiles would be appreciated please gents...

And do you think it's better to put in a shower tray / basin type thing rather than open shower as it is now....
