made a bar table from solid walnut worktop, it's bare wood so I oil it a few times and applied a layer of Liberon black bison paste wax. It's now quite smooth but when touching the table I can feel some wax on my hands, how can I wax it to give it a seal like finish so when touching no residues on hands? Is there a special type of wax or do I have to use clear paint seals?

Too much wax applied , little and often is better.

Thansks foxhole, I actually took your advice on the wax. I was applyhing by hands hence might applied too much, I'm getting a set of polish wheels and will try to do it again and hopefully give it a thiner and evener layer of wax - will see if I can get the result as I wanted.
