Hi people new to the thread I recently built extension and extended the lighting circuit. I know have a issue I installed downlighters between the kitchen and the utility. When I switch the kitchen light if the utility light is on it switches that off also, If I wire the downlighters to a permanent on state the utility and fan etc work fine but my kitchen lightscare permanently lit the down lights are on a Daisy chain system.any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you may have mistook a switched live for a permanent live .
