Ok! We are getting somewhere!
With this setup, wall lights and dimmer work.
Ceiling light power works, but not dimmer.

We are close?!

Assume it's ok for me to use wago to solve the issue of fitting 2 wires into one socket?

You sir are a genius, I had a non dimmable led bulb which kinda worked on the old dimmer, just put a proper dimmable bulb in now it works!
