How would you make this good?

Just need some personal opinions on this. Had to get an electrician out before Xmas to put power to my boiler as it was apparently being powered dangerously. But he’s left the fuse spur hanging. So I was wondering how would you make this good? (Doesn’t need to be perfect).

My plan so far is to expanding foam that gap as it’s being hidden by a splash back.

Getting the spark back to finish the job off would be a good start. Horrendous that it's been left in that state

If said electrician won't be returning, turn off power to that circuit, take the cover off the fused outlet (the thing with the red light), poke the screw holes clear in the back of the back box if needed, offer it up to the wall under the boiler where those two existing screw holes seem to be and check you can screw the fused outlet to the wall. You might need new rawlplugs in the holes if the screws don't bite anything.

Before you mount the fused outlet arrange the wire so it runs straight across and mark the wall with a pencil above and below the wire. Move the wire and outlet out the way and use a hammer and chisel to chase a groove into the wall to fit the wire into

Mount the outlet and arrange the wire so it sits in the groove then fit your tiles/splashback

coil the white wire up out of the way and cable tie it to something that doesn't get hot. If that other white box on top of the wire is actually electrically a part of the setup, mount it on the wall next to the fused outlet

He is coming back now but curious, can you just EasiFill over the wires chased into the wall?
