Hrm wallstar bentone bf1 lockout issue.

Hi everyone, have an interesting one, been working with Hrm there support as always is helpful, but has drawn a loss. Changed Nrv with a non specific thos caused a draw issue so replaced with hrm direct one. Full service as normal. The problem is startup and lockout, the system has to be fully purged everytime closing off the oil supply till control box clicks and no more heat or smoke then when you engage oil the negative pressure draws through oil vapour spread then ignites and it runs. Then will run next time but lock out. Previous work over half yeat has seen replaced stem valve and solenoid as well as diveter valve, diaphragm and microswitch. Have reset electrode and cleaned up in an effort to check. This maybe control box but would like other people's ideas please.

Exactly which HRM boiler do you have? Presume Wallstar combi if you have diverter and microswitch. If it will run after purging air in the supply, but after a couple of runs you have to purge it again, then you have an air leak somewhere. Recheck all your connections.
The diverter valve has no effect on burner lockouts.

Hi thank you for your reply and knowledge! it is a hrm wallstar combi. I agree about diverter was just giving a little history.

Will check connections again only thing I have found is one imperfect gasket/o ring on the furnace to burner mount point,would that cause this? Thank you again really appreciated!

No, only connections in the oil line.
