Hudson Reed concealed thermostatic valve replacement

Hi looking for instructions on how to remove the thermostatic valve and replace it, also appreciate any pointers where to buy this from, this is probably 18 years old now

Tried that already this was the last resort, if anyone had come across. I can't see a cartridge/fitting that looks like this. My search show 2 different kind of valves

There's a company called showerdoctor who will id from pictures, supply parts and advice etc.

They suggested this one. Is it just a case of undoing from the red arrow and do you need to do anything to that clip indicated with a black line. Thanks

Don't know, but they should - I think they have some video guides.

Make sure you turn the water off and drain down before removing the valve.

To turn the water off hot/cold, is it just a case of turning this clockwise/anti and how much-tried with a flat screwdriver but doesn't turn. Is there a special tool to do this
