just bought a hudson reed sloane vertical. supplier website clearly shows flow and return BOE. Rad even supplied with the plastic to-be-removed plugs in those positions.
on inspection, there are no internal baffles in the pipe across the bottom. thus if fitted BOE (as most would do with a vertical) it'll be cr&p, the flow will take the shortcut across the bottom, the top will never warm up. The only way it will work is TBOE. Its 1.8m tall and the pipes are at floor level so I do not want to do an ugly/pointless 1.8m vertical pipe run to get to the top..
I have a reina vertical in another room, almost identical design , this has an internal baffle half way across the bottom and it works great fitted BOE.
there is no sign of a removable diverter/baffle component in the box, does such a thing exist for as a spare (yes I have googled) ?
or do I just need to take it back (shame as it exactly the size/shape/output I need) and insist on something with an internal baffle..
