TITLE should now be : NO HW at all
Biasi m9024s: I removed and cleaned the secondary heat exchanger with some sulphuric acid (this has previously been done by an engineer and once before by myself).
Replaced it but now it is not lighting when HW is running. I can hear the pump working. CH is working fine except it cuts out when HW is turned on.
- The red LED on the dhw flow switch lights up for as long as the hot water runs.
- The DV valve pin does not fully extend to the primary flow switch. I have pushed this in manually and the boiler works.
- I have opened up the pump - no obstructions, though does spin for long.
- I have removed the membrane, cleaned up the spring and pin, applied some oil but it still does not reach.
Presumably not enough flow.
Help would be greatly appreciated before the wife gets home from her weekend away
