HW system draining

I'm replacing my hot water cylinder. Having been given advice how to drain the hotwater cyclinder that does not have a drain cock.

Now I need to know how to drain the feed into the heating coil. There does not appear to be a drain cock for that either. Will draining the CH system also drain this?

Yes. You only need to drain to just below that level.

The coil is like a radiator but without valves so you have to drain the CH down to a level just below the cylinder. The CH should be turned off.
