my sister has the above oven and the other day it started to blow the rcd,i've been over to look and the oven cable is on a 13 amp plug, not sure it this is ok ?

i used an extension lead and tried a different socket and it worked ok,so i think the oven is ok.

i changed the socket and when i plugged it back in it blew the rcd,my thoughts are now the wiring has melted.

are ovens like this supposed to be wired into 30 amp sockets with 30 amp cable.

Ovens like what?
If its a single oven the chances are its ok on 13amp plug, check the rating plate fixed to the appliance.
But
When does it trip/blow, ie with everything powered off? or with what switched on.

You will get lots of help, once we know what we are trying to resolve

sorry its a single oven and grill, and it blows as soon as you turn the oven on.

thanks for the quick response.

If it dosnt blow when you switch the grill on, the chances are the oven element has gone, could be a wire fallen off, or the thermostat
