hyundai accent window regulator (not electric)

hi wife's hyundai accent 3 door offside drivers door window regulator playing up, this is the manual one wind up with handle, new part £60 minumum have seen these wire replacements on e aby where you just change the wire, into the existing regulator, anyone done one of these, are they effective, apparently you glue the two stop ends once done, any problems in removing the panel etc kindest regards dave

ive re done the wires (electric)on my drivers door on a ford galaxy,ITS A P.I.A to do,but with a little patience can be done,i too looked on ebay and saw those,but in the end i bought a 2nd hand 1 from ebay,a hell of a lot cheaper then the repair kit ,so do a search and ask if any 1 is breaking parts for your car.
