I HATE CHRISTMAS AND THIS IS WHY

The pea-brains who put the lights up excuse their selfishness by saying "we are doing it for the community", as if.

A bad use of electricity, yes. A bit daft, definitely.

But selfish? Two of my neighbours have oodles of lights on their houses and they aren't bright enough to flash through my curtains. I'm generally rather intolerant of this sort of thing but I think it's great

Being very sepitical (lol).....

I too would like to have the charity commission attend these houses that say they put up all the lights on for "Charidee ! ! ! " (YEAH RIGHT ,.....1 for them ,9 for us , accounts )
how much goes to the sick kiddies I wonder , as more an more cul de sacs start this will families soon visit avenues where its bereft of lights I wonder , ??

my MP will get a strong worded letter tomorrow, lol
we are on 1st names terms,
since I got the champers socialist in power ,an then he threw me out of the Old Labour party membership for asking for Phoney warcrim toneys resignation , (the SH*T!)...

Luckily I am self employed, so I don't have to suffer this stupidity of a wasted 2 weeks-plus at Christmas

what really STILL surprises me is that its a day without commercialism/materialism =shops open ,

OMG, it wasnt that long ago that tesco was a false word on a scrabble board but now its like doggie poo everywhere ...
Supermarkets were a US THING , an the only shops were shut every sunday anyway ...

but God help you , if we fall apart with shops shut 1 day out of 365 days ... SHAMEFUL ,

Oh yes, the annoying neighbours that have kilowatts of flashing lights outside the house, so that when you go to bed you think you are living on Blackpool sea front. Apart from that xmas is ok.

Why do we that any way, spends lots of money on lights that we can't see but everyone else can.
You aint seen n-n-n-nuttin yet:

More info here: http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp

And this is worth watching, as the lights are on in the background of the interview, and you get a much better quality view of them, but only a few seconds.

Apparently the original video the guy shot was much better quality, but when he turned it into a .WMV he traded quality for size..

I don't hate Christmas itself but I am extremely tired of the greed involved.

My five-year old came home from school yesterday with what appeared to be a party invite saying something on the lines of......It's Jesus' Birthday, come to his party, for all ages, at Skipwith Church on December 25, 10.30 am - 11.30 am. All Welcome.

Which seems a pretty shabby trick to me, and now he's all exicted. I'm not buying him a bloody present !!!!

Tell him to arrange go-karting next year, he'll get far more guests than tea and cakes and an amateur DJ in a church hall!

Well I've taken this kids bowling before, and its tricky to keep an eye on them all. However, I believe Jesus's Dad may be a bit more all-seeing than I am........l

why do i get the same presies every year those cheap checkerd shirts from mataland, socks that never fit, jumpers 10 times to big,
