 HELP! So keen to get my project of newly renovated rooms up and running that I painted over (dry but only recently made) plaster walls with oil-based wood/metal/plaster primer. Now feel like a completely idiot as I should know that they should have been done with watered emulsion in due course. Question is, will the walls have to be demolished and re-plastered now while the floors are bare or can I risk continuing with emulsion top coats?

I think you will need to knock the house down and rebuild it. :p

its going to need sanding a bit to provide a key (adhesion) for whatever goes onto it ,as said the painting pros will know
