Hi

I just want to move a radiator so that it is in the middle of the wall as opposed to its previous position of the right of the wall. The distance is around a foot.

Can I just trim the existing pipe and rejoin it and if so is it difficult to do. I have done some basic pipe welding in the past.

Cheers

yes
no, not with experience.
no welding required just soldering or worse case scenario some push fit fittings from B&Q.

Cheers. I was thinking of push fittings as I plan to get a radiator box to cover it all anyway.

Many thanks

If using pushfit, make sure you clean the pipe well and cut it using a pipe slice to give a clean cut as opposed to a hacksaw which will catch on the pushfit rubber seals and p i s s water everywhere

That's a lovely bit of pipe work. Nice to see people taking pride in what they do.
