Was doing my mates kitchen ceiling yesterday morning and half way through had a blob of plaster go in my right eye!

Totally my fault as normally wear my specs but left them at home and thought I'd just crack on regardless!

A few spreads into the second coat and the blob landed! However, what can you do? I washed it out as best as I could and just carried on...blurred vision in one eye for about 20 mins and then it seemed to improve.

Fnished the ceiling (only my second one) and my mate was well pleased! I managed to get to watch some footy on Saturday afternoon and then only after that went to A&E to get it washed out! ;)

Off to do his walls tomorrow morning and then back to hospital in the afternoon to get the eye checked out! For a plastering newbie who works fulltime elsewhere I feel I now "belong"! :D
