I want to insulate these HW and CH pipes

Putting a suspended ceiling below all these pipes so they wont be quite as cosy as they would sandwiched between floorboards covered in underlay and carpet and foil backed plasterboard in the rest of the house. Plus its a porch so has a cold wall very close.

Any reason why I shouldnt use pipe insulation on both copper and plastic heating pipework here?
Just want to be sure before I do it

None at all! Thicker the insulation the better

Thanks, it was the plastic pies that concerned me, wasnt sure if there was some problem like softening of the pipe walls if insulated, not had plastic heating pipes before
