I have a large cabin in my back garden that I want to paint. When the cabin was new 3 years ago it was painted with an 'exterior shed' paint, Sandtex I think. Timber is in perfect condition but does need painting again as original stain has gone a bit flat. This time I want to paint it, rather than stain it and in an as yet undecided colour. I don't want those usual shed colours, green, brown blue etc. What prep would I need to do and what is a good range of exterior paints? Thanks in advance.
