I WONDER IF ANYONE CAN OFFER ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MY PROBLEM.

I have an ASUS X553S running Windows 10. Quite a nice laptop with a 15" display.

It logs into my WiFi whenever I turn it on as set to.

But after a couple of hours it disengages the WiFi and if I try to manually reconnect it says "Unable to connect". But does not show any reason why.

However if I just restart the laptop it immediately logs in automatically as normal.

Does anyone have any suggestions for such an unusual fault?

I regularly scan it for viruses with AVG and sometimes Malwarebytes too.

Could it actually be a setting on your router - guest network?

Obtain a usb WiFi dongle for not much money and use it to get online, disabling the internal network card

Does the problem remain (it's not your laptop) or go away (could be your laptop)?
