ICE told to get the eff out

The facts are not in the direction she was turning her wheel or not. She was heading towards the agent and accelerating. The ICE agent has no time to be looking at her wheel direction and trying to weigh up if the car would have enough time to turn and miss him. He acted on a split second decision that could cost him his life.
He positions himself in front of her vehicle, not the other way around. In fact, the video shows an innocent woman being attacked by a number of armed masked men.

Shooting her in the head actually made the situation more dangerous not less.

It’s irrelevant her positioning or demeanour towards him. She could be a smiling assassin for all he knew. He is not a mind reader and could not read what was on her mind by ignoring commands of get out of your vehicle and stop. She did neither of those. He saw her accelerating towards him it is irrelevant whether or not she made impact with him either, it is the intent on both sides that is important.

It is against the training of ICE or any other agency to position yourself in front or behind a vehicle in order to use lethal force. That was the agents only mistake.

I can't be bothered to read the last ten pages.

Has everyone had a good logical discussion and all agreed a sensible conclusion yet?

I think we can safely say the horse is dead.

The objective fact is that a car with its wheels turned to the right will follow the laws of physics and go to the right. The officer knew the wheels were turned to the right because he had seen it with his own eyes.
Not in this case. There was ice on the ground regardless to the laws of physics

Yes, we have all agreed that Renee was parked a long distance away from the ICE operation and could not possibly have been obstructing it in any way. I think we have also agreed that the second and third shots were definitely illegal. The main issue still to resolve is whether the first shot was justifiable.

That's not how I park when I go to the shop. It looked like she was ready to pull across the path of whoever she wanted to stop, she made herself a sentry patrol.

What comes as a big surprise to me is the fact that her wife who was the instigator in all of this never received any injuries from running her mouth as she was. At the time the agent shot the lady in the car another agent could have easily shot her too. Even if it were in the leg to prevent her from running off. I think the ice agents were being as lenient as possible with the pair of them.

She didn't try to stop anyone. Are you arguing that the very fact ICE agents believed she might do this, was enough to amount to obstruction. It is important to understand that she was a long way from their actual operation.

Well, she did call him 'big boy' and told him to go on his lunch break. If that isn't grounds for shooting a civilian, I don't know what is.

Conclusion 1, the brainless right wingers: if you have a gun and you’ve been made a deputy sheriff you can shoot who the f**k you like

Conclusion 2: rational people of all political persuasions: she was murdered in cold blood

She was saying a lot worse than that and well you know it. Trying to make light of what these two have done is not how it is.
