I would have round house kicked him and he would have gone through the car windscreen and all the crowd would be cheering and lifting me up clapping, but thats just me.On a serious note though, if I was that agent I would have shot him in the leg to calm him down as he was struggling and fighting. He would have calmed down after that and still be alive but of course that is easy to say looking at a video from the comfort of your home.

That doesn't mean that they are right, let us put into context that this is ICE that has shot him so there will be a lot of hate anyway. Also the fact that people do not like seeing people killed, you can understand their feelings. If you read the discussions online, I think pretty much everyone has accepted now that the guy was blameless. He wasn't shot because he was struggling. The main talking point is why was that first shot fired. Was it accidental. Did it cause the other agents to panic.

The problem with shooting someone in the head or back, it is more than probable that they will die. Therefore their intention was most certainly to kill him, we just haven't got all of the facts to say whether or not they had their reasons.

Very possible, but I think there is more to come outI think what actually happened is that, when the agents heard the shot, they assumed that it had come from the victim i.e. somehow, even though he was totally pinned, he had somehow managed to access another hidden gun and fire it. Nothing else makes sense. Unless is really was just a cold blooded and wilful execution.
I'm surprised Dork didn't beat me to this as the resident guns n ammo enthusiast. The picture of Pretti's gun shows its a Sig Sauer P320 9mm. It has a standard safety and a drop safety.
For it to discharge accidentally, there was a round chambered, the striker sprung and the safety was off.
Someone might have been prepared.

That was also my train of thought, I didn't say as some loony would have said the ICE agent took it off on purpose or it got taken off in the struggle, it would explain them standing around him after they had shot him as they was expecting somethingI'm surprised Dork didn't beat me to this as the resident guns n ammo enthusiast.
