Can someone kindly tell me what this (see attachment) is properly called (so that I order the right thing)?
It’s the cartridge out of a shower mixer bar.

Looks like it’s a cartridge out of a tap mixer, it if it was in your shower, then yes, it’s a shower mixer cartridge.

Do you know the make/Model or shower? Or are there any markings on the cartridge body? If not, then it could be one of many.

I see what you mean. The blue colour - but I haven’t found a match on the internet. In your experience is it possible that I could find a workable alternative? I don’t want to replace the entire bar.

Unless the bar has a makers name on it then it'll hard to find the right one if you can't match it on Lunn's.
