hi. could anyone give me an idea of the cost for the following work to convert an old understairs coalhouse into a toilet?
brick up an existing doorway, make new internal access doorway to said toilet, build a 6x8 stud wall then face it with 22mm ply and then plaster-board it and plaster it,install and plumb in toilet and wash basin and connect to main underground sewerage pipe, plaster out new toilet and then wire up for lighting.

you reckon the price is about the same up here in yorkshire as i'm told prices vary regionally?

Expect some serious variations as all we have is a verbal description, a vague specification and a location.

In no way take what i have written as a firm price. A starting point at best.

hi, when the above mentioned toilet has been finished i understand that it must have forced ventilation via an extractor fan. under the building regs is it ok for this fan to discharge into an adjacent garage which is built onto the side of the house or must it discharge to the outside ?

Duct it to the outside.
