Hi

I have an Ideal Classic FF250 boiler. Today it's stopped working. I know there's a stat reset button. I'm looking for advice on how to use this/reset the boiler. The button doesn't seem to be the type you just push in. It's a red screw type with what looks like a button 'inside' the red screw, but this will not push in.

Any ideas?

There is power to the boiler (temperature controls, timers, etc, all working correctly) and boiler does try to start up, there's simply no spark/igniting. If the overheat stat reset button had kicked in would the boiler do anything (eg, it wouldn't even try to light).

Thanks for any advice.

How do you know that there is power to the boiler? Have you tested it? Does the fan run?

If it wont push in then it's not tripped.
If it had then you would feel resistance & hear a click when you try to reset it.
