Ideal Classic LXFF FF240 Boiler

    Can someone tell me what this item is on top of my boiler attached to one of the pipes at the top , it looks like some sort of relief valve and appears to be leaking.
    It 1 inch diameter and about 2 inch high.

    I have tried to attach 2 images in my album
